The Harbourfront Community Centre is a City of Toronto-funded, non-profit organization managed by a volunteer board of local community residents. We work closely with local residents to design and develop the Centre’s programs and services. By involving the community, we ensure the Centre’s activities reflect the needs and interests of our diverse neighbourhood.

From the
time that the Centre was first established in 1991, the goal has
been to provide a safe and supportive, welcoming environment. The new
Centre, built in 1997 is a shared facility housing a public
secondary school and a daycare centre. The new facility reflects our
ongoing commitment to improving the quality of life for residents of the
